Add field validation to all app inithooks

I noticed while Rik was making the Ghost appliance his use of a python library "validation" to validate urls. Perhaps in the future we could extend `dialog_wrapper.Dialog` to have "get_url" etc. methods which automatically validate urls or in some other way add validation to all apps were relevant?
