Follow Release Process for `3.0.0-alpha.6`

This is the first attempt. Lets see if it works.

• develop branch is ready for publishing.
• create release: version 3.0.0-alpha.6 commit.
• push release commit to main branch.
• check all status checks succeed for main branch.
• push main branch to releases\v3.0.0-alpha.6 branch.
• check all status checks success for releases\v3.0.0-alpha.6 branch.
• create signed v3.0.0-alpha.6 tag.
• create github release from v3.0.0-alpha.6 tag.
• merge main branch into develop branch.
