Partial update function broken

Changes in # 134 broke the partial_update function. That caused endpoints of PUT, STOP, RESTART, DELETE to fail.

TODO:

• Fix the issue.
• Add tests for the mentioned endpoints to the list of tests to review in the ticket Add new test or improve existing ones to caught /time-entries common errors #138
