It's hard to find the page to subscribe to a WG mailing list

If you start by following the link 'Discussion Lists' on www.ietf.org, which
leads to

you then need to look at the section

Working Group Discussion Lists

Each IETF working group maintains a general discussion mailing list where most of its work is conducted. Mail on the working group mailing lists is expected to be technically relevant to the working groups supported by those lists.

Information on how to subscribe to an IETF working group mailing list, as well as the location of the mailing list archives, can be found on the Web page for that working group. Access to the Web pages for all active IETF working groups is available on the Active IETF Working Groups web page.

The last phrase is linked to http://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/, where you can follow the link to e.g. appsawg, where you can click on the charter link and find the subscriptions link.

This is too convoluted. There should be a direct link from http://www.ietf.org/list/discussion.html to a page listing the subscription pages for each WG. This can easily be put together based on the information in the database.

To resolve this ticket, there are two changes that could be considered:

First, and not particularly controversial, add columns with links to the list
archive and to the subscription page to http://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/. Here
is an example (with table dividers for clarity -- those should not be added
when implementing this).

The list address should link to the archive, for instance https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/search/?email_list=core , and
'subscribe' should link to the list admin page where people can subscribe, for instance
https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/core/ :

appsawg	Applications Area Working Group	!apps-discuss@ietf.org	subscribe	Murray Kucherawy, Salvatore Loreto
core	Constrained RESTful Environments	!core@ietf.org	subscribe	Carsten Bormann, Andrew McGregor

Second, and this needs more discussion, change the WG pages so that
essential WG information is presented at the top of all the datatracker
WG pages (documents, charter, and history) -- a reduced version of the
information on blue background which is now found on the charter page.
