I know this is related to the other time zone issues, but I wanted to point out one more place where it's causing confusion. The automatic emails after sessions are officially scheduled list the session time in UTC without specifying such.
Here's the text from one of those emails:
Dear Liz Flynn,
The session(s) that you have requested have been scheduled.
Below is the scheduled session information followed by
the original request.
