We are overzealously guarding against hyphens in group acronyms.
We don't want new ones for wgs (or any other group that might have drafts), but we don't want to break the ability to edit other group types, or any existing wgs.

Fixed in 04f5b4a:

Retain strict acronym validation, specifically disallowing hyphens, for new groups of types that create documents, while allowing existing groups and new non-document-creating groups to validate when they contain hyphens. Fixes #3236. Commitready for merge.
