Hello, Tools Team!
We occasionally have BOFs that come back for a second round after not meeting at the previous IETF. When this happens, we have to change the group's state from "BOF Concluded" back to "BOF" so that a scheduling request can go in, etc.
I tried to do that for WUGH at https://datatracker.ietf.org/group/wugh/edit/state, but got this error message:
You requested the creation of a BoF, but specified no parent area. A
parent is required when creating a bof.
WUGH already had a parent set (GEN), so it's not clear why this error popped up.
I was able to successfully change the state through the admin interface https://datatracker.ietf.org/admin/group/group/?q=wugh, but it would be nice if this could also be done from the regular interface without throwing up errors.
Thank you!
Cindy
