After performing a search and grouping by thread, the auto-scroll feature (downloading more email via an ajax call when the scroll bar nears the bottom of the window) does not work.
In the attached screen shots, the search returns 388 messages, but only 21 are displayed even when the scroll bar is taken to the bottom of the window.
