The new datatracker UI for the WG docs lists are very hard to read. On my current laptop's screen, I open a page and see a grand total of 5 entries before scrolling. (screenshot attached) A total of 7 can fit on screen at once. In the prior UI, this all easily fit in the top portion of one page.

The combination of fonts, styles, padding, and weird table with multi-line rows makes this quite hard to read. I used to be able to open up one of these pages and see, at a glance, what I-Ds are currently on the table, and easily skim the list of RFCs. This is no longer practical.

Main layout changes I would start with:

I-Ds: For each entry, the prime metadata is the title. Put it first. Below that, put the doc name. Put the page count in a parenthetical to the right of the doc name. Ideally, this should be two lines.

RFCs: Put the RFC number in its own column, preferably left-most. The prior name can go on the second line like with I-Ds.

status labels: The "new" label takes up space that is better spent the document column. It widens the entire date column, leaving the rest of the dates left-aligned with wasted space. Put this and anything else other than dates next to its cousin, the "errata" label, which is already added onto the end of the title in the document column.

status column: Font is too big and makes it take up loads of vertical space.

glued to the top menu: Please get rid of this. I don't need a cm of my vertical space sucked up by this menu. I can just scroll back up if I actually need it, which I probably won't. Or, just put it on the left where it won't get in the way of the actual list of stuff.

bold text everywhere: Please no. That's for table headers, not every single title.

table styling: The tables and rows are not well defined. Please add a table border and make the row border darker. Make the every-other-row contrast higher, as the two colors are so close as to only barely tell them apart. (at a certain angle on this LCD, they are the same, but they're just slightly enough different to throw perception off in a weird way) With the combination of other styling and layout issues, it all sort of blends together when I first look at it. I'm surprised how hard it is to read this thing. (I mean that non-sarcastically; my eyes are fine and I'm not dyslexic, but I'm actually having to make a point of focusing on parts to skim the list)

To be clear, the more I look at this, the more I want to stress the point that I'm not just saying it's "ugly" or something. The color scheme is fine. (I wouldn't pick it, though) This is genuinely hard to read now, especially in comparison to the former layout/theme.
