When an email address is marked inactive, the user should be told about any places the address is used.

Alternatively, the accounts profile page could offer a link to a view that shows where any given address (even an inactive one) is used.

Note that changing those places automatically to a used address is not the right thing to do. For old documents whose state is not changing retaining the history of what addresses were used at the time is valuable. The user should decide whether a change is appropriate for each use.

The current Your account page shows the origin of the email addresses associated with the account (e.g., if it's from an I-D rather than a explicit account setting). The email accounts that are used for roles (e.g., WG chair) are shown and set separately.

However, when a user marks an address used in "Email to use for Chair role ..." as inactive, they are not directed to update that particular field, which will still show the older address even when datatracker updates the address for the chair role on the WG page to use the new primary address.
