tried the new replaced-by feature. Email received was:

The last phrase seems that it is used with $variables but is difficult to parse. It is not a big deal, so you get it, but…

Improve e-mails from replaced-by updates.

Fix an incorrectly-expanded file tag in the subject.
Fixes #1178.
Use a slightly more natural grammatical construct in the message body.
Fixes #1179.
