I just spent energy on researching a BoF for the upcoming meeting. It was only later that I discovered that it is non-WG-forming, and I could thus ignore it. Proposal: the "BoF" lozenge could be "WG-forming BoF" and "Non-WG-forming BoF". Yes, that makes the lozenge large, but it is valuable information for someone looking at the agenda.
If this is too visually challenging, at least make the state on the "About" page clearer about WG-forming or non-WG-forming, possibly using boldface because the difference is significant.
