Hm. These should be translated too, but it doesn't look like the website infra supports things like msgid= for these. Checking Google style guides, given that these images have captions below, probably best to just replace this with alt="" anyway actually:

Use empty alt text in the following situations:

- The image duplicates information that is already expressed in text on the page.
