Gotify support deprication moving to apprise

This not a question, but more my experience updating my host to apprise because of the deprication.

I made a new docker containe for apprise with this docker-compose.yml.

  apprise:
    container_name: apprise
    image: caronc/apprise:latest
    ports:
      - 8999:8000
    volumes:
      - ./config:/config
    restart: unless-stopped

Then i had some puzzling to do to get gotify in the apprise conf webinterface, but this worked for me.

gotify://192.168.1.32:8642/[APICODE]?format=markdown

and in speedtest tracker added the appriise config

http://192.168.1.32:8999/notify

with the service url

gotify://192.168.1.32:8642/[APICODE}?format=markdown

Saved it and with the next scheduled event i got this.

Its now working as it was with only Gotify.

Glad to hear you were able to get it working. We’re still smoothing out a few rough edges around Apprise. Do you have any feedback on the UI or the documentation? For now, we mostly point users to the official Apprise documentation so we don’t have to maintain separate docs ourselves.

Hi Sven,

What did not work for me initially was the markdown (default?) I had to put into the url to make it work. I tried to make gmail work, but the url in your docs took me the wrong page? The url in the apprise docs took me to the right place to make an app password. Thats about it in the documentation for me.

Hi Henk!

We do use markdown as default but it might that some services need to also in the URL. I will clarify that in the documentation.
As for Gmail, it seems Google changed the layout and places where to create the App Passwords. Im working on a big documentation, just waiting for @alexjustesen to review it for me, I will update this as well.
